Axiom Bible ("the App") is developed by Matthew Langford ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

The App collects and stores the following information locally on your device and, if enabled, synced via iCloud:

• Favorite verses and passages you save
• App settings and preferences (appearance, default Bible version, font choices)
• Recent search history (up to 5 searches)
• Subscription status for premium features

We do not collect:

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Contacts or other personal data
• Usage tracking or behavioral analytics

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, your favorites, settings, and search history may be synced across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple according to their privacy practices. You can disable iCloud sync for this app in your device's Settings.

On-Device AI Features

The App uses Apple's Foundation Models framework to provide historical context for Bible verses. This feature:

• Processes all data entirely on your device
• Does not send your data to external servers
• Does not share information with third parties
• Requires compatible Apple hardware and iOS 26+

Apple's on-device AI is designed to protect your privacy by keeping all processing local to your device.

Apple Services

The App integrates with the following Apple services:

• App Store & In-App Purchases: Subscription management is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information.
• iCloud: Optional sync of your data across devices.
• Spotlight Search: Your favorited verses may be indexed for Spotlight search on your device.
• Widgets: Home screen widgets display your favorite verses locally.
• Crash Reports: If you opt in to share analytics with app developers through iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash reports to help improve the App.

Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage frameworks. If iCloud sync is enabled, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account according to Apple's security standards.

We do not operate servers that store your personal data. We do not have access to your favorites, settings, or any other information you enter into the App.

Third-Party Services

We do not share your data with third parties. The only external services the App uses are Apple's own services (App Store, iCloud, and on-device AI), which are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to use.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete favorites: Remove any saved verses within the App
• Clear search history: Your recent searches can be cleared at any time
• Disable iCloud sync: Turn off iCloud for this app in iOS Settings
• Delete all data: Uninstalling the App removes all local data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
